Hello everyone!  It is us again giving you a small update on the happenings of the last month.  We continue to do work on and off for Sharon's but they are finally OPEN!  Go by and see them.  If you talk to Sharon or Michael, tell them you heard about their store from Pink !nk!  The paintings are hung, signs were painted, labels printed, and lately the to-go menus have been designed.  We feel that as they grow, it will help our business as well.  The Memphis Flyer just recently did an article on the store and its opening.  There was hope for our paintings to be included but no such publicity for us, however, we are excited that they are getting recognized already in Memphis.  Here is the link to the small article if you would like to take a look at it: Chew On This: Sharon's Chocolates and Bread Cafe  We have placed business cards in their store so please pick one up if you stop by.

We have also had several inquiries over the past weeks for artwork and designs but there are no contracts pending.  This in some ways is depressing but we know that it takes hardwork and dedication to make a business grow and be successful so we are hoping that with continued efforts we will get our 'big break'.  Remember that we can do work for any type of events whether it be the invites, save the dates, logos, or artwork.  We love what we do and we want to share our joy with you.  If you would like to see work let us know that too.  With limited computer and internet access (hard to believe one of us still uses dial-up) it is difficult to keep the blog up daily but we do what we can.  Until next time....

Hello and Happy New Year from Pink !nk Designz

We are hopeful and eager to begin this new year and hope to have many opportunities come our way.  Since the last blog the paintings and artwork have been delivered to Sharon's.  They loved them and loved that they have paintings from a local artist in the area.  Once again, please ignore the bad photography.  Due to limited space I don't have a backdrop set-up for better photos.  Here are the paintings that I did.

The wheat paintings have a muted lime green border to add a little color to the more neutral tones of the logo.  I wanted a color that would stand out but would not be too loud for the surrounding.  I hope you like them.

Our newest client!

We wanted to let you know about our newest client we have been working with for the last month or so.  It is a couple out of Jackson, TN and they are opening a new chocolates and bread cafe in the heart of Memphis.  The store is located at 2881 Poplar Avenue.  They are not open just yet but are hoping to be up and running in mid January.  They have entrusted us in designing their logo as well as custom artwork for their shop.  Here is the logo:

The artwork will be delivered tomorrow and once we have the approval we will upload the other photos then.  This client has been one of the easiet to work with and we look forward to continuing projects from them.

With the holiday season approaching we want to provide you with festive party invites, artwork that adds flare to your theme, and all things in between. ... If you can think it, we can design it.

News Lately

Hi Everyone!  We just wanted to announce and show our new business card.  We are hoping that this will open many more doors for us and get our names out.  Let us know how you like it :)

In other news, we just finished a project for our first customer and once we finalize the rest of the details and account, we will post our design.  Not only have we had this opportunity but we are currently working on a design for a consulting service based out of Memphis, as well as working on a design for a Senatobia based horse and farm business.  Customers are rolling in and we are eager to please.

So, "Pink Ink Designz" is officially up and running! We are slowly but surely getting all of the pieces of this crazy puzzle put together. Phase one is underway: creating all of our social media outlets. It's what will keep us connected to the world! More updates coming soon...
